Hello! I’m Chloe.

Here are some things to know about me in third person:

Chloe is a writer, former horse girl and avid Nicole Kidman fan based between Los Angeles and Naarm/Melbourne. Her debut novel Rytual was published by Penguin Random House Australia in May of 2025, with a television adaptation currently in development.

Chloe graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Master of Screenwriting in 2019. Since graduating, she has had projects shortlisted for the Stan & VicScreen Comedy Fund, and longlisted for the AWG Monte Miller Awards. She runs a monthly-ish newsletter called tall tales, which you can learn more about here.

Chloe participated in the VicScreen Originate Writers’ Seminar, the Australian Writers’ Guild’s First Break Victoria program, and was a 2022 AiF Charlie’s resident in Los Angeles. Her work has been published by The Guardian, Refinery29 and ABC Everyday. She has worked as a writer and researcher for Shameless Media, assisting in scripting some of Australia’s most popular podcasts. Chloe is an enthusiastic but unskilled surfer, and is represented by Caitlan Cooper-Trent at Curtis Brown.
